As we continue to navigate the event landscape, our experts are here to keep you informed on the most up-to-date guidance as we prepare to return to in-person events. The current Nevada mandate that went into effect March 15 states a host or venue may hold a conference, convention, trade show, professional seminar, or similar gathering activity at 50 percent capacity. Gatherings, events, celebrations, and ceremonies in private residences must be limited to a maximum of 10 individuals indoors and 25 individuals outdoors. As of April 13th, Governor Sisolak confirmed that jurisdiction would be turned over to the county level beginning May 1 and expects that Nevada can reopen to 100 percent capacity levels beginning June 1. It is expected that social distancing requirements will also be lifted at that time, while the State-wide mask mandate will remain in place.

Many event venues have created their own safety protocols in addition to what is required by the State. Our team will work with you to ensure all guidelines are met while maintaining the safety of your guests and our staff. Last month we partnered with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation to provide 400 meals to The Harbor, a Juvenile Assessment Center that provides assessments and services to youth and families to address their immediate and ongoing needs. We coordinated the donation on behalf of our client, TELUS, who asked us to use their event cancellation to provide for our community. Check out the story here.
