Christine Kendzora joined the Divine Events team this year and was recently appointed Sales Manager. As a member of our incredible team, she has witnessed what makes this company so special. Christine has been blessed with a dynamic career path that has taken her across the country and been defined within all sales, catering, retail foods, and marketing areas. She has been the catering manager at the Phoenix Convention Center, Director of Catering and Director of Operations at the George R. Brown Convention Center, General Manager at Cashman Field, and the Director of Sales and Marketing at World Market and the Las Vegas Convention Center. Her career journey has allowed Christine to participate in some of the most prominent and visible events within the sports and entertainment industry, including the opening team at Coors Field, First Union Center, Enron Field, Major League All-Star, League Championship, and World Series games. She has also been responsible for being the point person for many of the major Las Vegas Convention Center shows for CES, WOC, ConExpo, MAGIC, ICSC, SEMA, and Cowboy Christmas.

Fun fact about yourself?

Outside of work, I am outnumbered at home!  6 males to 1 female!

Favorite food?

My favorite food is definitely curry!  I love the aroma, taste, and spice level all combined. So much flavor, richness, and warmth makes it my favorite meal.     

Favorite drink?

My go-to drink is iced tea.  Unsweetened with lemon all day long.  However, if I am in Texas or Georgia, I will ask for a glass of sweet tea!

Favorite dessert?

This is a trick question, right?  So many choices. However, my favorite dessert, hands down is peach pie!     

Hobbies outside of work?

We are a baseball and football family and love outdoor sports and activities.  I love to swim, work in my yard, music, and read. You will find me in my pool from morning to night on my off days.  I love the water and love to swim. My favorite pastime activities include working in my yard, outdoor sports, reading, and too many DIY projects that Charlie and I should never have even considered taking on ourselves. I love the holidays, and I love to decorate for the holidays. I enjoy preparing anything and everything on the grill and especially love making meals from scratch.  I am a fan of clean and non-toxic products.  If it is my home, it is most likely non-toxic.  I love music, as we play all day long at home.  I also love genres of music and enjoy dancing too.  And if I ever have a day just to myself, you can find me at the spa.  

Where are you from?

I am a small-town girl from Ohio.  A big city girl by heart, however, growing up in Ohio was genuinely remarkable. I remember the long summer days that seemed to stretch on forever. The years were filled with adventure...     

Summer pool days from early morning to night, boating, fishing, water skiing, and Friday night football.  Perhaps the most defining part of living in the Ohio Valley was growing up on country music.  As a teenager, country music was always on the radio while we were driving down back country roads, at bonfires, at county fairs, and anywhere in between.  Growing up in Ohio will always hold a special place in my heart.  It instilled the value of family, hard work, and perseverance in me.   

My education:

I attended Bowling Green State University.  I have a dual bachelor's degree with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

Biggest Accomplishment?

The most important aspect of my life is my four sons!  They are my most significant accomplishment, pride, and joy, making me proud!!!!
