Jenifer Mercedes Brown was born in California but originally from Nicaragua, where she lived for four years. She studied music for a few years and initially wanted to be a singer. Since the age of 21, Jenifer has been bartending and has worked on and off the strip for most of her career. Along the way, she has met some really cool people who have taught her some amazing skills. Jen has participated in several drink competitions and has won a few, a skill that is valuable in her role as the Head of Beverage and Venue. Jenifer loves to play softball, and besides her children, her all-time favorite thing is working out.

I love Divine because it has allowed me to truly become the person I have always wanted to be in my career.  They encourage creativity and have been a huge part of my finding my voice in the beverage industry.  

Fun fact about me: I was in the musical "Anything Goes" when I was in High School and tried out for American Idol, and America's Got Talent.

Favorite food: Sushi 

Favorite Drink:  Paloma 

Favorite Dessert: Chocolate Lava Cake 

Hobbies: Working out, dancing, and hanging out with my loved ones.

Thoughts on Jen, from Pam:

It has been our goal to bring our beverage and program up to our culinary programs standards for a long time.  Jen has reached that goal for us in the last year.  Her specialty cocktails and mocktails are extraordinary.  She works with our Chefs to make our own simple syrup in many flavors using garden fresh fruit and herbs and garnishes the drinks with them as well, and they are a huge hit with our clients and guests.  She is so creative and talented, and we love having her on our team.
