It has been one year since Divine Events moved into our spectacular new kitchen, and as we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude and excitement.

This team, this building, the layout, and organization - it is a dream come true after 18 years of hard work. Despite starting our business in 2005, going through a recession, and surviving the challenges of COVID-19, this is the realization of our dreams for the company.

We have overcome so much and deeply appreciate every member of our team, our clients, and everything that has contributed to the business as it is today. A fun fact - we received our occupancy permit on October 6, 2022, and within that weekend, we successfully catered to over 6,000 guests. It was nothing short of a miracle, and since then, we have never looked back. Our business is flourishing, and our future looks incredibly bright.

During the spring, Divine held the official grand opening event, and since then, we have had the pleasure of hosting numerous venues, planners, DMCs, and clients for enjoyable lunches and happy hours. These gatherings have allowed us to build relationships, get to know each other better, and ensure that we become the company that our clients need us to be. It has been a heartwarming and fantastic experience to deepen connections with our clients and work towards becoming even better partners. We are incredibly grateful for where we are today, and we extend a heartfelt thanks to our clients and industry partners for your invaluable support on our journey.


When severe weather occurs, the Divine team is ready to provide solutions! As a result of monsoons in late summer, our client's original venue was unexpectedly unable to host their event safely. However, our dedicated team of specialists quickly responded by securing and preparing Proprietor's Reserve as an alternative location. Thanks to their swift thinking and hard work, along with the resilience of our guests, the event turned out to be a resounding success.


Vinnie Perna was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. After graduating from high school, he moved to California. Vinnie has been happily married to his wife, Edie, for 40 years. They have two daughters named Tina and Sarah. Throughout most of his career, Vinnie worked in the commercial construction industry. He began as a site superintendent and later became a project manager, a role he held for the last 20 years of his career. In his free time, Vinnie enjoys golfing and spending time with his beautiful granddaughter, Lilah.

Q: What exciting events is Divine Events currently hosting?

A: This weekend, we are hosting a 1200-person family day event. We have been working with this client since our opening in 2005, and it is always a pleasure to collaborate with them. Our focus is to make their members and their families feel as special as possible. After the recession, the group did not host the event for several years, choosing to allocate their funds towards helping their members. However, they decided to resume the event in 2022. Last year, the client sent us a message saying, "It's been 12 years since we had our last Union picnic, so I wanted to see if Divine Events still does picnics???? We wouldn't do it without you!" Repeat clients like this are an important part of our business, and we strive to create truly memorable events for them.
